Things are keeping busy, especially now we are in summer - Bertha has been running in on sunny Sundays and we are preparing our miniature vehicles for their trip to the Forth Road Bridge Open Week on Saturday. Visit the website for more details.

We have been featured in railway press significantly lately, most notably an 8 page article in the Miniature Railway Magazine - this is a great read, for only £2.50 and brings the railways history up-to-date.

We are still open weekends, with daily running starting on the 2nd of July at the railway

We're now open for the main season, with a very successful first weekend, accompanied by blue sky and passengers, many travelling specially just to see the railway.

Firefly, Elliot and even Auld Reekie pulled trains, whilst volunteers were busy at work with continuing improvements on the line, including gardening, cleaning and painting.

The rebuild of our Pacific locomotive Bertha is nearing completion, with the tender now awaiting lining and lettering.

We have also been featured in National and Local Press, articles of some can be read online. This is all part of expanding our railways audience and making them aware of the improvements we're making:

Trains are now running daily until the 17th of April, when we revert to Weekend Running until the Scottish Summer Holidays on the 2nd of July.

We hope you can come down and enjoy a ride, on the railway or one of our miniature vehicles.
