Firefly, our historic 0-6-0 steam locomotive, built by Herbert Bullock in 1936, embarked on an exciting three railway tour in the South of England during June 2013.
The initial main reason for the visit ‘down south’ was to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Hastings Miniature Railway where Firefly had been the workhorse for many years. This was her first visit since 1984 when purchased by Matthew Kerr Jnr for KMR. In addition, the Eastleigh Lakeside Steam Railway had organised a Surrey, Border & Camberley Railway event reuniting five Herbert Bullock built locomotives and Firefly was also invited for a days running at the private Birchley Railway in Kent.
Thank you to all the railways concerned for their invitations and support, and those who came to see Firefly on Tour! See below a selection of photos from the tour.

4th – 6th June – Hastings Miniature Railway
